Living in San Francisco most of the year, I’m surrounded by the unending beauty of place. From the majestic victorians, to the curvy hills, the fog envelops and lives within our city. It gets cold, and I paint what conforts me. The time of day is dusk. The lights are starting to come on, but the sky still holds the colors of sunset. San Francisco sparkles with the enticing light of its warm interiors. Montreal’s Stone homes bring comfort as well, and a stable beauty that feels like it can indeed protect from all elements. While I do call both these cities my home, I am also drawn to paint urban setting from around the world. Sprinkled within paintings of San Francisco and Montreal, you will see paintings of France, and Spain in this collection.
